UK WALES LLANNOR 28JUN06 - British screenwriter and director Andrew Birkin poses for portaits at his farm in North Wales. Apart from his roles as screenwriter and director in The Cement Garden, The Lost Boys and The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc, Birkin has recently written the screenplay for Patrick Suesskind's 'Perfume', due to be released in September 2006.
