NAMIBIA SESRIEM CANYON 22APR14 - General view of the Sesriem Canyon, a major tourist attraction in the Sossusvlei.
It is a natural canyon carved by the Tsauchab rivier in the local sedimentary rock, about a kilometre long and up to 30 meters deep.
